Best Black Belt Fish Photo Contest Begins; Share Your Favorite Shot and Maybe Win a Prize

Fans of the Alabama Black Belt Adventures Association Facebook page will select the winner of this summer’s Best Black Belt Fish Photo Contest. The angler with the photo that receives the most “likes” will win a free night at Lakepoint State Park in Eufaula.

“We are so excited that our great partner, the Alabama State Parks System, has donated a night at Lakepoint. It’s an angler’s paradise,” Pam Swanner, Alabama Black Belt Adventures Association Project Director said. “This is a wonderful prize at one of the best fishing destinations in the country.”

To enter the contest, email a photo of any fish caught this year in Alabama’s Black Belt to photocontest@albbaa.org. Entries will only be accepted via email. Winners of any ALBBAA Facebook Photo contests from 2015-17 are not eligible. The contest is open now until August 24, 2017.

Again, to be eligible, the fish in photos entered must have been caught in one of Alabama’s Black Belt counties – Barbour, Bullock, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Crenshaw, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Monroe, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Russell, Sumter, Tuscaloosa and Wilcox.
